Villane’s Jewelry and Accessories recently donated 10% of a week’s worth of sales to the Georgia College Chapter of Kappa Delta Sorority to support Prevent Child Abuse America.

Along with this donation, co-owners Villane Waldhauer and Susan Renfroe hosted an after-hours event for the ladies of KD.

“Kappa Delta has had a few events at Villane’s recently, and I think this fact testifies to how much of a success they are within our chapter,” KD sister Halley White said.

The owners like to make these events a special occasion. In the past, they provided baked goods, sodas and a corn-hole toss for an extra discount. Not only do they donate the percentage of sales, they also provide a discount for their guests.

“We are wanting to make it a priority to reach out to other sororities and community groups to host events like this,” Renfroe said. “The sorority gets a major contribution to their philanthropy while enjoying a girls-night-out.”

Similar to other customers, the ladies of KD view these events as experiences rather than simply shopping. The atmosphere of the store and the hospitality of the owners provides for an unforgettable shopping experience.

“I have witnessed many sisters taking advantage of these great deals offered to Kappa Delta at these events,” White said. “We are always up for buying a new pair of earrings or a necklace for our next formal!”
